Touchless Faucets
Faucets as we know are used everywhere in bathrooms at homes, in public restrooms, in malls, and every place that has a sink or a hand basin. But the faucets as we know them have evolved with the technology advancement, Faucets have a tap that can be rotated in clockwise and anti-clockwise direction to allow or inhibit the flow of water.
But, through the advancement faucets are now touchless. They use sensors for controlling the flow of water, an infrared sensor is used which detects movement and takes action according to it. The touchless faucets although are expensive but are way better than the regular ones.
Advantages of touchless faucets
Touchless faucets offer the following advantages over the traditional ones
As these faucets are touchless, there is no chance of contamination. In the traditional faucets, we have to use our hands to allow or stop the water flow, which is not the case in touchless faucets
These faucets are more water-efficient than regular ones because in the normal ones the water needs to be stopped manually and sometimes the tap does not close fully or by mistake someone leaves the water flowing. To tackle this issue touchless faucets inhibit water flow the moment hands move away
